Week 1 Day 3 Activity 3: The WWF: World Wildlife Fund (Summer Learning Journey)

In 1961, a number of people came together to start an organisation called the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The main goal of this organisation was/is to protect life on earth. Hundreds of WWF staff work in countries all over the world trying to protect our planet and the animals who live here. To learn more about their amazing work, click on one of the two video links below.

  2. Talofa Herbert,

You are right, the WWF is working hard to protect Freshwater Seals. The Seals do have a specific name, do you know what it is? It'll help to revisit the video and watch carefully to find out.

You have included some very basic information about the Seals as well as what WWF are doing to help them survive. In order to gain full points for this activity please include the name of the Seals as well as some information about whether the WWF has been successful in helping the Seals survive.

Keep persevering and working hard, I know you can do this. I look forward to reading your edited post. :)

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.
