Like you, I also live in Auckland. I moved here eight years ago and really enjoy living in such a big city with plenty to see and do. I try to get out and about as much as I can and take advantage of living in a very dynamic place. I was actually hoping to get out tonight to see the lights at MOTAT (The Museum of Transport and Technology) but, unfortunately, the rain is so heavy that we weren't able to go. Does anyone in your neighbourhood have lights or decorations up for the holiday?
I hope that you are having a nice time with family and friends this week-end. We are going to spend the next few days working on the Summer Learning Journey programme before taking a short trip to see family. I can't wait! Does most of your family live here in Auckland?
